Ainhoa Lete, the co-founder and CEO of BuntPlanet, received the “Entrepreneurship Award” from the Confederation of Managers and Executives Foundation (CEDE) at the XXI Conference of CEDE Managers in Bilbao.
The award was granted for creating software based on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data to detect and locate water losses in supply networks. It was delivered by José María Vázquez Eguskiza, president of the Basque Association of Directors Professionals (ADYPE), at a ceremony on 29 September 2022.
The prizes awarded by the CEDE Foundation recognise companies for their contribution in areas such as internationalisation, social commitment, business dynamisation and innovation.
The ceremony took place in the Palace of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia to mark the start of the CEDE business congress, which was held with the presence of different authorities.
This year the congress, which has become the reference event for business leadership, is part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the CEDE foundation. CEDE includes 37 associations, representing more than 157,000 managers in the country.
